At Fit Munch, every batch of sesame seeds is cleaned and sorted before packing. Dust, stones, husk and broken seeds are removed, so your pouch is filled with clean, even seeds that roast to a golden colour and a rich, nutty aroma.

Why you’ll love them

Til has been part of Pakistani kitchens for generations, especially in winter. These tiny seeds are naturally rich in calcium, healthy fats, plant protein and iron, and a little goes a long way in adding flavour and crunch to sweets, breads and everyday cooking.

How to enjoy

Dry roast the til in a pan on low flame until golden and fragrant. Mix it with melted gurr to make classic til ke laddoo or chikki, or combine it with peanuts and gurr for homemade gajak. Sprinkle roasted til over naan, kulcha, salads and stir-fries, grind it into til ki chutney, or add it to biscuits, cakes and homemade bread.

Storage

Sesame seeds are rich in natural oils and can go stale in heat. Keep the pouch sealed in a cool, dry place away from sunlight, and in summer store them in the fridge to keep them fresh longer.
